Part 1 - James Jarvis: From Illustration to Figure

Born in South London in 1970, James Jarvis graduated from the Royal College of Art and the University of Brighton. He is an illustrator active primarily throughout Europe, working across a wide range of media including magazines, advertising, and comics. As part of his diverse creative output, he has designed figures for AMOS TOY. Since 1998, he has also contributed T-shirt graphics and catalog artwork to SILAS, a brand with which he maintains a close personal relationship. Additional clients and collaborators include relax, i-D, SONY, toto, and NOKIA. His personal interests include philosophy and cycling.
