'BASE CONTROL - Hiroshi Fujiwara X Shinsuke Takizawa' - NEIGHBORHOOD A/W 2005

“A foundation for every style.”
That’s BASE CONTROL.

The city is overflowing with clothing, yet when you try to find a simple, basic—truly ordinary—T-shirt or sweatshirt, it’s surprisingly difficult to find exactly what you want. If only you could effortlessly get something with the right size, proportions, and fabric feel—something that fits you perfectly. How good would that feel? Fulfilling that modest yet surprisingly difficult wish is BASE CONTROL, which debuted this summer.

With Hiroshi Fujiwara and Shinsuke Takizawa serving as creative directors, the brand offers high-quality basics in restrained color variations. Centered around plain T-shirts and cut-and-sewn tops that can serve as the “base” for any style, the lineup ranges from underwear all the way to clothing for dogs.
