About DampMagazines...

I am an independent archivist and physical media collector based in New York City. I started collecting around 2016, when I was living in Los Angeles. In 2019 I began scanning my collection, and today DampMagazines has become the hub for my digitized collection of physical media, including magazines, books, VHS tapes, catalogs, and more. 

As culture has become increasingly online, the stories of creatives represented in analog media have become inaccessible to the masses. Through DampMagazines, I hope to not only preserve but share those stories. I have no financial or institutional backing, just a hunger for learning and a respect for history. If we want information at our fingertips, we have to document and share the information.
